Standing Strong Together

Upon much reflection, watching, listening, and learning, we share with you this heartfelt message. Our world is experiencing unprecedented times. In addition to a global health crisis, we are also facing a human rights crisis for which we, at Providence Bank & Trust, take a stand.

As an organization, we vow to always stand strong together, working to rid our communities and businesses of racial injustice of any form. We believe in and support equal protection, equal justice, and equal opportunity for all to reach their fullest potential.

We have taken time to evaluate, listen and have conversations to continually expand our thoughts and perspectives. As people of different races, ethnicities, and backgrounds, we stand together with a mission and purpose to create communities where people want to live and work.

Providence Bank & Trust will continue its work to effect change in our communities and develop an inclusive culture through our #StewardStrong initiatives. We will continue to focus on loan and deposit support, investment in existing and new branches, and community service projects. We will build on our recent investment in Urban Partnership/Shore Bank and expand the impactful work of serving the underserved. Through Providence Stewardship Foundation, we will extend low cost, community development loans to stimulate change where it is needed most, all with a view to serving our neighbors.

We give thanks to God who in His providence has called us to this important work. Daily we strive to carry on for His glory and our communities.
